1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Vakil Notes AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Service Description

Vakil Notes AI is an AI-powered legal assistant that helps lawyers record client meetings and automatically generate structured case notes. The service includes:

• Audio recording of client meetings
• AI transcription (Hindi, English, Hinglish)
• AI-generated case summaries, facts, action items, and dates
• Case management and search

3. User Responsibilities

• You must have proper consent from all parties before recording meetings.
• You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content for accuracy.
• You must comply with all applicable laws regarding recording conversations.
• You must not use the service for illegal purposes.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

4. AI Disclaimer

Important: AI-generated summaries and notes are assistive tools only. They may contain errors, miss important details, or misinterpret context. You must:

• Always review and verify AI-generated content before relying on it.
• Not use AI outputs as the sole basis for legal advice or decisions.
• Understand that AI transcription may not be 100% accurate.

5. Plans & Pricing

• Free: 30 AI minutes/month.
• Pro (₹299/month): 300 AI minutes/month, no ads, priority processing.
• Premium (₹499/month): 600 AI minutes/month, no ads, priority processing, priority support.

Pricing may change with 30 days notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all your data (recordings, cases, notes). We do not claim any rights over your content. Our AI models, software, and branding remain our property.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vakil Notes AI is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Errors in AI transcription or summarization.
• Loss of data due to technical failures.
• Any legal consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
• Service interruptions or downtime.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion:

• All your cases, recordings, and notes are permanently deleted.
• Audio files are removed from S3 storage.
• Your profile is removed from our database.
• This action cannot be undone.

9. Data Export

You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Export My Data. The export includes all cases, notes, summaries, action items, and dates in a readable text format that can be shared via email, WhatsApp, or saved to files.

10. Geographic Availability

Vakil Notes AI is currently available in India only. The service is designed for the Indian legal system and supports Hindi, English, and Hinglish languages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in courts of Gurgaon, Haryana.
